Shooting kids....
For some reason, I had a run of shooting kids. For like a year. I'm not sure why? I am a dad, I do have a certain approach to working with kids, I guess it works?
This project was great fun. I got to work alongside ECD Legend Ibraheem Youseff - who was working out of Hong Kong at the time. His creative approach was fantastic, and even though the client had pretty specific expectations, the loose nature of shooting with children allowed me a certain amount of freedom to achieve the required boards.
Over 4 days, we shot with somewhere around 8 different kids, with backup children in case our main selects didn't work out. The end result was a tight edit of twelve different product films that rolled out region-wide.
